Somebody mentioned it in another thread, but he seems really loose and relaxed.

I would add that he remains focused and on task and I think his relaxed and loose demeaner is clearly a sign of his confidence. That same mood has transferred over to the team as well.

Not someone who has skated by on his daddies name for a career in football.

Not someone who is a poser used car salesman.

Not some dolt who couldn't even form a complete sentence and somehow managed to ride his high school coaches coattails to a job with Alabama.

Heupel tasted success with his own talent on the field unlike the last 3 and it shows in his approach.

To be fair to Barrett Sallee, he has been very high on Tennessee since the start of the season. He said that UT was far and away the 2nd best team in the east back then. He also picked TN to win against UF, LSU, and Bama.

To add to my post from earlier, Barrett just picked TN outright to beat UGA. He may have been a skeptic in 2021, but he has definitely been a believer in TN this year.

Barrett’s Twitter post is an example of not making extreme predictions either way in sports. Just to many variables. Actually this board is notorious for it. It sometimes makes me smile at the emotional instability .

Heupel doesnt pretend to be some robot. He’s human. And the team and fans feed off of that. And he automatically praises the team when talking about positives. And he criticizes himself when talking about the negatives. The guy just gets it.
