It's a cover up! Nico died during half time and the guy you see playing against the Bulldogs next week is fake Nico (Fake-O). Just start playing game video backwards and you will hear the secret messages about Nico being dead.
Rod Wilks is fake-o....

Nico will be fine next week, good to know Gaston can fling it as well. I think they went x-rays to make sure all was fine. We handled them well without Nico. Got Gaston some reps, I like how he managed things and wasn’t afraid to take some shots. GBO!
He missed a wide open tight end for about 40 yards to fling a long incompletion. Hope he can see these open receivers. He did perform well.

Now Georgia has to spend time preparing for two different QBs. Not a huge difference; but sometimes small things can make a big difference
Bingo. Keep ‘em guessing who the QB will be. Make the have to game plan for two QBs not just one. Oh an by the way, whichever QB UT does play next week, can we PLEASE stop running the ball up the middle every other play? I get the conservative strategy, I get running the clock - but not in the first half. The ARK DC said our offense was too predictable and we are doing nothing to prove him wrong. Come on Coach - mix it up. Our TE’s were running wide open in the second half and we finally started going to them in the 4th qtr. GBO!

It worked out fine.

Nico got a little rest and Gaston got extra reps, just in case.

Gaston deserves to play some if we don't really need Nico.

The more he plays the better he'll sling it for TD's.

VFL...GBO!!!
I think it was a similar situation to the OK game. Josh felt we could win without some starters and played it conservative in the second half. With Sampson and the defense, you don’t have to do a whole lot. During the game, I thought MS St was doing pretty well and they ended up with 245 yds of offense.

The one thing about continuing to run the ball up the middle is that it wears the defense down. There is a reason that Sampson starts piling on the yards starting about midway through that third quarter. The kind of sustained pounding we inflict on opposing DLs eventually takes a toll. That (along with an elite defense) is why our slow starts have been survivable. And that run Up the middle gameplan got Sampson his biggest yardage night of his career.
I agree that the TEs need to be utilized more and some short passes over the middle would be welcome. But I really can’t argue with those numbers last night. If Sampson didn’t fumble early last night; that was a 40 point game for this offense

Migraine headache is a possibility. A bit weird to call it an injury though.

Honestly, I prefer taking the QB out if they are 100% (or any player) and not taking chances over keeping them in and get a bad game like Butch Jones did with Dobbs in 2016 against South Carolina. Dobbs was a great QB but he was definitely not 100% that game.

I know concussions have various levels of severity, but going back and watching the last 2 series of the half, makes me have confidence hes gonna be fine. He did take a big hit on the play before the field goal, but he got up and jogged off with no help. He never looked dazed to me. Also, he came back in on the last drive to get the FG and through a nice ball to Squirrel. So I'm definitely not worried about his shoulder being something that would keep him from playing. Obviously got to let the concussion part play out and just hope to goodness he just had a bad headache from the big hit and that it totally precautionary to keep him out.
