The guy apparently is a good developer of QB’s . After watching a QB throw pick sixes, fumble against Alabama on the one, and not get benched . And a coach saying he gives the best chance to win. Yes it’s a bad measuring stick, but it can’t be worse than the Pruitt and JG tandem. Or can it?

His offenses are legit. Randy Shannon's defense seems to be the gripe.

Heupel may do ok. He just seems like a bad fit here and I'm not sure if he can recruit. And UCF did get worse every year and nosedived this year, though he did have 10 players opt out, I believe only 2 were projected starters

The majority of the fan base has no idea what it takes to hire a head coach. Is he the best choice? No. Was he likely the best one we could get? Highly likely.

Like I said. I don’t really have an issue with the hire, but you have to admit it’s funny that our new AD brings along his average coach friend to get a pay day and that is “very tennessee”. I hope he works out.
