If he's looking for a guarantee of being the starter, I say pass. If he's okay with competition and the best man starts, I'm on board.
not sure looking for guaranteed starting spot is going to be his deal if he's looking to jump in at hte P5 level? situationally im sure there'll be opportunities for that, don't get me wrong...someone in the p5 will have a need, and he could probably slide right in somewhere.....

for us, it'll definitely be about depth/competiton.

Pruitt has missed any opportunity to land a decent transfer QB.

It's not just that CJP has missed any opportunity to land a decent QB, it's that Tennessee, in the future, has missed any opportunity to land any decent transfer of any position.

Again, another QB beat him out at a group of 5 school. No thanks
If the staff wants him here and he wants to come here then let him. Adds depth and experience. We are bound to lose one QB to transfer and I don’t think JG comes back again. I think we kick the tires here but I doubt anything comes of it, but who knows.

Makes no sense, the kid was hurt like leg went the wrong way hurt. By your logic though, Since HB didn’t beat out JG, he shouldn’t be here, right?

Harrison Bailey wasn’t a 3 year starter who couldn’t win the job back after getting healthy. Now, if he lost the job because he was not ready PHYSICALLY to play QB, then that’s a different scenario

which means he's probably really about 60%.... :)

Kid had a Alex Smith style injury. I’m sure there was a lot more that went into the decision to play another kid than he got beat out. But ok......

Really ain’t pulling for the kid to be here but your reason is BS.

Mackenzie Milton just announced he is entering the transfer portal...hopefully CJP is already making his recruiting pitch to bring him here....I think he could be a difference maker for us next year. He did amazing things at UCF. If JG comes back, imagine the depth we would have at QB next year. MM starting, JG as backup, and HB learning and getting ready.

Yep.
Covid-19 will still be here, so it will slow down Bailey's progress during the off-season of 2021. Need him to sit another year and take mental reps.
Get Milton to backup JG.

We are going to need a transfer most likely. I would be shocked if Maurer or Shrout stick around.

This dude has the right attitude. And he’s a leader. Hope he gets back 100%.

Former UCF QB McKenzie Milton has entered the transfer portal. He suffered a major leg injury back in 2018 after bring UCF from worst to first.

Although the kid is a good prospect that can use his legs and ultimate frisbee background to sling the ball all over the field, I see this option as unlikely.

I see it unlikely as I expect him to go to Nebraska back with his former coach Scott Frost. Seem like an easy marriage as the cornhuskers need a QB now.

But let me know what you think
He'd make a great linebacker.

If this is the kids true character i'll take him any day of the week. Worth a shot as far as scholarships go, even if it is only a one year deal.
