Even if you're putting your kid's health at risk?

Are parents not smart enough to know how to raise children anymore? How in the hell did civilization make it the last 7,000 years before the gentle, guiding hand of gov't was around? :unsure:

can't say I disagree with this but it will fail as bad as Nancy Reagan's great plan. The fact is that these obese people will become a burden and cause healthcare costs to rise. Telling them they are fat at an early age when they can do something about it is a good idea IMO. And if your kid lives on burgers and fries then you are a piss poor parent who should never have procreated in the first place.

Have you seen what the public school cafeterias are feeding kids lately? How about the coke and snack vending machines? Gov't needs to practice what they are preaching if they are going to come down and lecture us.

The government also can't tell you not to smoke, drink alcohol, drive a car, get married, sleep with the person of your choice, etc., but they can sure step in when those things concern a child.
