High praise for Josh Malone

I feel like Worley will start early too, but last year making quick decisions weren't his strong suit, imo. I think that was a big part of the problem with the passing game last year early in the season. The timing was off because he was getting rid of the ball a tick slow. I have full confidence that after over a year in bUTch's system those issues will be fixed this coming year.

Yep. I'd say the combo between him and the receivers not having the system down completely led to this

I think Riley is the future at qb he is super talented. I think Worley starts season the riley takes over at some point. Malone will be a star. Our qbs will look much better this year because of the talent at whiteout.

JONES: We will call out individuals on Saturday and have them do 1-on-1s in between series in the first half.

This is awesome! I can't wait to be in Neyland on Saturday!

Butch Jones in MY coach :ermm: , and I am proud of it!

I am so glad that a talented TENNESSEE boy like Josh Malone is receiving such praise.

I can't wait to watch all of these studs perform Saturday! GaaaameDaaaay! (sorta)

I'm really hoping you meant something different.

I'm looking forward to watching this WR corps more than I was to watch Hunter, CP, and Da'Rick

The WRs on our roster have a ton of potential, but don't see any of them being as fun to watch as CP. College football won't have that type of WR again for quite some time.

I'm concerned that if we don't get an SEC LT in the lineup soon, then we may be playing our lower string QB's sooner than we hoped...

You may want to check your calendar, because it's only April. Too early to worry about that. If it's August and we don't have a starting LT, then you can worry.

I don't see how a QB such has Gentry could pass up an opportunity at early playing time with the WR talent that is being assembled here. I don't think the long term answer at QB is on our campus yet but it will be next year.

There's no way to know that right now.

Really hope the place is packed on Saturday. Jones has been saying it for weeks, (months?) now. He wants a full house.

It gave me such a bad headache that I had to take a half day and leave work early. I thought our entire season had just gone up in flames.

Although I think it may have been a blessing in disguise. Da'Rick stays in 2012, and we likely would have won 1-2 more games, despite our terrible D.

We go to a bowl, and Dooley is retained for another year. Hell, he might still be the coach, but would almost certainly still be on the hotseat.

And the 2014 class would have been garbage, with all our top players going to other schools.

I now, like you, consider it a negative gain.

Ws over:

Utah State
Arky State
UF
UTC
UK
Vandy

would be an awesome season to me. Make a bowl and get the UF monkey off our backs.

I would definitely not think we had an awesome season if we go 6-6! 7-5 with a bowl win would get my nod as an awsome season.

JW being in the system 2 years will be a huge plus and timing issues should be considerably less than last year. I really feel we would have been bowling last year if JW would have not injured his thumb.

His arm strength and overall lack of athleticism will more than make up for any gains of having another year in the system.

I like Worley as the starter with the playmakers around him. Is he the second coming of Peyton Manning? No,... but he is serviceable. Had he not got injured last year, we would have went bowling.

Gonna be a good one

Can't think of any WR corps with as much potential as North Pearson and Malone

Next year we add Preston Williams and at least one or two more 4 or 5*. I can picture bUTch talking to Calvin Ridley and Torrance Gibson telling them if they come on board, our offense would have so much firepower, Vladimir Putin will be jealous.:dance2:

Someone will start at QB. But I'm still doubtful if any of the 4 are in fact SEC-caliber QBs.

I have to say. We appear to be heading in the right direction. It is good to be back, thanks Freak.
