High praise for Josh Malone

Obviously none of this matters regarding QBs or WRs if we don't have a line to give em time...

this could be a major problem, pass blocking will be the key to the Offense,as we all know,if you don't have an SEC caliber line,it will be a long season,no matter who the QB is,as it will be on the Defensive line

It sounds like Butch is giving every opportunity for Riley Ferguson to win the QB spot. If one of the young guys were the clear favorite, he would announce a starter. Since they are not, he's giving them time to take over Worley.

I think the staff knows that RF is the most talented and likely starter. I also think they are making him work for it. I think he is known to be the clear favorite but by naming him they think he might get a since of entitlement and quit working as hard. A QB competition pushes them to work harder. Mind games are Butch's forte...

I like Worley as the starter with the playmakers around him. Is he the second coming of Peyton Manning? No,... but he is serviceable. Had he not got injured last year, we would have went bowling.

Last year is last year.

His lack of mobility is going to be a hindrance behind a completely unproven offensive line IMO.
