Not that I saw thank God, I am paranoid about Gators. I camped, hiked, biked and climbed in Bear country for over 20 years and was never uncomfortable, but Gators freak me out.

I went to the Caney.....paddled about a mile and a half upstream from Betty's Island.... had the whole stretch of river to myself most of the morning. I caught 10-12 rainbows and then floated back down stream when the water started rising

Same here. I'll never understand how people get on those jet boats thru the swamps driving like a bat out of hell. No thanks.

I wouldn't go swimming in Gator infested waters, but I can't tell you how many times I have played my ball within a club length of a sunning gator at East Bay golf course 😁

Was playing a course in SoCal once when we got to a tee and a coyote was lying in the high grass by the cart path right across from the tee box. Probably not much more than 20 feet away from where we’d be teeing off. When we got out he just laid there like he didn’t care and all he did was when each of us hit our shot his head would raise up as he watched and followed the flight of the ball. Then he’d lie there and wait for the next one. Damnedest thing.
