Hilarity ensues on the Wildcat Lair

Yea man I’m a UK fan. I’m a Vol fan too. I’m sure as much stalkin you have done you can find where I have stated that plenty of times and did nothing but say positive things about Tennessee. Your hate for Kentucky doesn’t have anything to do with me or how I feel towards either team brother man
I have a good friend who’s from Kentucky and is a big Kentucky basketball fan. He’s lived in Tennessee most of his life and is also a huge Tennessee football fan. Hard for me to wrap my head around and he’s very conflicted during basketball season, especially with our recent basketball success.

refreshing to see someone who understands. Me personally which I have stated a long time ago love Kentucky basketball. The only team I really loved growing up. But living in Tennessee my whole life and knowing nothing but Tennessee fanatics have a since of pride about where I’m from and like to watch Tennessee football be successful. I’ve been to Neyland stadium. Never been to a Kentucky football game

Well they are on the back end of getting mud stomped by the Gamecocks…at home.
And the bigger problem for them and him may be that he caught lightning in a bottle once but can’t repeat it.

He found several diamonds in the rough and developed them into a winner. But it is hard to do that consistently and especially with new competition like Heupel.

Without Levis they appear to have no O. They can’t run block. Their receivers weren’t good without him.
Saturday could very well be a preview of what’s coming for them.

His best move is probably to leverage his success and go somewhere like Wisconsin

Three things I’d like to note here.

1. If you’re gonna come on an opposing football fan message board, you have to expect that you’re gonna spend most of your time on the defensive.

2. Also (continuation of point #1), if and when you defend yourself, you may want to bring something stronger (or more clever) than “dookie head”

3. NOBODY from Kentucky has a right to make teeth jokes directed at people in tennessee. If you want to do that, direct them at people from West Virginia. By all accounts, they’re the lowest on the dental hygiene totem pole.
It’s not an opposing fan board I’m a Tennessee football fan. That’s why I said what I said because y’all act like I can’t like two teams. I tried to message the person to change my name but it hasn’t happened yet. And I talk sports on sports forums. There’s other forums for other things or for people who are just negative but at the end of the day I’ll post whatever I want and it doesn’t matter.

I grew up in Kentucky. I'll pull for the Taliban over that group in basketball. I can't imagine being a fan of an NBA one and done incubator. Cat For Life? After one year?

Kentucky will likely go either 6-6 or 7-5. The Missouri game is a tossup.

They are an irrelevant program.

If stoops is as bad as you say they would be 4-6 now. I don’t think he’s great I think he’s good for what he is given to work with. Huepel is good also but I think it’s more about he has three times the resources to work with. If Tennessee didn’t have a bye week they may very well still be ranked below Kentucky. Stoops will be at UK till he retires. It’s a perfect match. He may not ever win a national championship but he’s had Kentucky to where if they pull a miracle out against Georgia they would be in the playoffs. I’ll take that knowing what they used to be. Really they were worse than vandy. Kentucky is a basketball school 100%
Your a joke🤨but your right...he is pretty good with what he is given...and that is garbage....last couple of games have proved that. Levi's is bad right now.

Of course we have three times the resources to work with....you are a bottom dweller and we are Tennessee....this should be no surprise...where have you been. You all will never change. You can only pray for us to go through KDJ again so you can win a few...Kiffin Dooley jones.

Can't control the bye weeks....only take advantage of them....highly doubt it changes the outcome tho....nice dream tho.

I hope Stoops is there long enough to retire a dozen times....pull a Brett at Green Bay.

Yeah it's a perfect match alright loser for a loser program. It's laughable to even mention upsetting Georgia...what have you become?

Your last couple of sentences are spot on....not trying to be an a$$...but dang you are the typical blue school that gets raked over the fire on her for being so delusional.

Sorry about the rant.

Of course you’re free to post (mostly) what you want. But you choose the username “Kentucky Wildcat” and work overtime to convince everyone Stoops is the man. Then seem dumbfounded people think you’re not a Vol fan. It’s pretty simple to understand.

Serious question. Was doing some research and want to know how both Tennessee and Kentucky claimed a national championship in 1950.

You missed a couple….Princeton and Oklahoma also claim to be the 1950 National Champions.

I’m gonna leave Princeton out of it, because, we’ll….it’s Princeton.

AP voted for the National Championship before the bowl games back then.
1. Oklahoma
2 . Army
3. Texas
4. Tennessee
7. Kentucky

But in the bowls that year, Kentucky upset Oklahoma.

Though not technically a “bowl” Army lost to a bad Navy team after the last AP poll.

Tennessee upset Texas.

Earlier that season, The General beat The Bear, giving Kentucky its only loss. Tennessee had one loss to MSU in week 2.

So, it was a bit of a muddy picture at the end. Then, like now, there are actually several different polling organizations, several of which voted at the end of the bowls, not the regular season.

Most actually gave Tennessee the nod. But with the old Sagarin system, they gave co titles to Tennessee and Kentucky. The system they use now applied to the results from 1950 would only give the title to Tennessee.

Tennessee had by far the best record against ranked and winning teams that year, beating 4 ranked teams and 6 teams with winning records. Kentucky’s only win over a ranked team or team with a winning record was the upset over Oklahoma.

Most people laugh at Kentucky’s 1950 claim. You either give it to Tennnessee, who would have won if the voting were done after the last game was played, or you give it to Oklahoma who was #1 in the last AP poll.

there way more intrigue and interesting turns if you want to research it, but that’s a quick synopsis.

Their O-line is really struggling man. We have given up 8 sacks this year. That’s a little on the high side, close to middle of the pack. But I also think a few of those were garbage time sacks.

If my numbers are right, Levis has been sacked 19 times.

19……
Wow. I had no idea they were that bad this year on the O-line. I just looked it up and Levis was sacked 22 times ALL SEASON last year and this year he's been sacked 20 times so far. Makes me feel much better about the game. I still think it will be close but not as close as last season thankfully.

Like I keep saying, what happened to the team that we played that's most comparable (LSU)?

LSU and Kentucky have the worst OLs in the SEC. That's a huge deal.
