Historic Hot Garbage

Yeah, Barnes is the one throwing bad passes and dribbling the ball off his foot, knee, head, wherever else... just stupid
So you tell me, what was his game plan today? I saw nothing that made me think he had a plan to attack OSU on offense or defense. Had we used the full court press earlier in the game we might have pulled it out. He started a guy in Plabisc that has hardly played all season. Due to his inability to recruit effectively, he has zero bench to turn to. Recruit a shooter and a big man that can actually play and maybe we don’t have the issues you mentioned

Pretty easy to see why we lost...bad shooting. Play another game or half and the law of averages plays in TN favor. But that’s the excitement/curse of the tournament— if you’re hot you can knock off anyone. 1143E809-0AEB-44D4-BD43-610DD1B9A75B.jpeg

If we shot better than 20% in the first half its a different game. Coach can't shoot for you.

True, but the coach is responsible for those guys being on the roster. High time we stop taking athletes with the goal of "developing" them and load up on kids who can shoot the ball and can play this game. Sometimes I think it's an ego thing for Barnes. Gotta show everyone how great a developer of talent he is. After today, I think it's more than far to question his approach.

I watch a decent amount of NBA. Neither has the game right now to be anywhere close to competing at that level. They both need to stay in school and work on their games.
Agreed, playing next year with a true point guard the caliber of Chandler will do wonders for them. They were just asked to do to much, Josiah needs to step it up as well.

This is worse than that. We had a lot of hype and we lost to a team who hasn’t won a game in tournament in 40 years
Once Fulky was Felony assaulted and out, it was said UT would have problems from that point on and could be a day one exit. Fulky may not have been the most talented on the team but he was the heart of this team for sure.

springer and Johnson need to stay another year. They are good but I mean not like Grant Williams good or admiral. I guess it’s something with potential with nba lottery picks??? I don’t really understand that part.

How well they played this year will have virtually no effect on their draft prospects and status. If you're a first round talent go immediately and get your first contract over as quickly as possible. The 2nd NBA contract is money that means your grandchildren never have to worry about anything.

Look, I love all of these guys. But I try to look at it as objectively as possible, and they could grow a ton as players by staying in school.

KJ desperately needs a jump shot. JS desperately needs to be a better 3-shooter (cuz he will need that more at next level).

Even Durant wasn’t DURANT in college, but he seemed further along than these guys.

Sadly, I think Europe is the ceiling for JJJ. He would be a fool to leave college.

Matt on Basilio said JJJ was a “5 star Dane Bradshaw “ 😂

I like JJJ but it’s kind of hard to argue with that

If “ coach” wasn’t so stubborn and had taken McClung who would have walked to come here, we would have had a shooter. The “ coach” is the one that recruits the players so the buck stops there
I was not aware McClung wanted to come here, really?
