The UTEP athletic web site has plenty. They have Volleyball and Beach Volleyball as well as Soccer. Most of the players have Instagram which I don't have. But the talent is there.Haha I just noticed this post. I was a little late. I couldn't find anything hardly for this week which is why I skipped it. I'll be making one for Vandy.
Australian army is the only traditional ally to commit troops to Vietnam. Mostly due to communist incursions in SE Asia but still the only one.In an attempt to farm engagement on social media for my Realtor business, I'm going to start doing "Mind blowing facts from a Realtor that have nothing to do with Real Estate" videos every week.
I have 2 already.
1. In 1932 the Australian Army fought against a bunch of emu's, it's known as the great emu war. (this is a true story believe it or not)
2. Oreo cookies have a rival very few people know about called "Hydrox cookies." Hydrox cookies claim they were the original chocolate sandwich cookie, and Oreo ripped them off. They have the same packaging, same color scheme, same ingredients, etc.
What else yall got that are mind blowing facts a lot of people probably don't know?
The war to end all wars.On the first day of the Battle of the Somme (7/1/1916), the British army suffered over 57,000 casualties, just over 19,000 killed.
That was not the worst day the Allies had. On August 22, 1914, the French army suffered over 27,000 killed.
From August 5, 1914 to September 5 of that year, the French army suffered 352,000 casualties (over 10k per day avg). As a comparison, the total active duty (not front line combat) troops in the US Army currently is around 450,000.
