Anyone that thinks she is what this program needs is absolutely nuts. Her teams are never good at the details and the wins they do get are on talent alone. The team is never “locked in”. They always make dumb mistakes, and the offense is garbage. Yes she’s not playing but she’s also not putting in a decent offense, or instilling the work ethic in these girls to get over making the same mistakes time and time again. I love all Tennessee sports and i loved Pat. Women’s basketball does matter and we deserve a better coach. No matter how many wins we get this year nobody feels like we’re competing for championships. With these players we should. I know the AD doesn’t want to bother with firing a women’s basketball coach. It’s different at UT though and we should be competing for national titles. It’s my first post in this forum but i had to let it out😜. VFL

I never post in the lady vols forums but did you really expect Fulmer to say "Holly is a terrible coach and we're looking for her replacement at seasons end." Come on already

This is my first post in this forum and I try to avoid it to be honest. Warlick is the Butch Jones in womens basketball.

I remember when I would listen to a whole radio broadcast plus post game if the game wasn't on television prior to the SEC Network. I haven't watched 5 total minutes all year. I didn't watch much last year. Holly has ruined my love for the sport. Now it just looks like bad, low level basketball except for UCONN. It doesn't matter who they put on the court.

Every year there is a new scapegoat to explain her incompetence.

There are quality coaches that would love to have this job. The program needs to GROH - Get Rid of Holly.

Would like for 'em to win the NC but realistically the ceiling may be the elite eight.

Bottom line is she'll win enough to keep her job. Fulmer won't fire her UNTIL the FIRE is so hot he has to. So then we'll be into a forced coaching search and have to settle for what's available quickly.

If we were smart we could try a different approach. Plan it now, get the BEST coach available that will come to UT and then pull the trigger!

Really? I remember when not getting past the 16 was considered a failure. One year after hearing they were a 2 seed, it was treated as an insulting slap in the face.

Now you want to be in the 16 only 80% of the time? Hell, let's quit calling them the Lady Vols. Let's start a whole new legacy and call them the Lady Settlers.

So... we won? I am so confused right now. I didn't know the score until after I read all these posts and I thought we lost. So, we win by 15 points against the 14th rated team in the country and we are all upset about what? What happened? i didn't watch the game because I really only watch men's basketball. Fill me in.

It was neck-'n-neck for almost the entire game, teams swapping the lead by a few points. In the 4th, an Aggie fouled out and that seemed to blow up both their offense and their defense and the LVs went on a big run.

Freshmen had a lot of turnovers, Jaime's shot was on, LVs got the ball to Mercedes, LVs were rebounding better. Much better game than the last few.

Some idiot with nothing better to do must’ve started this thread. They played good tonight and won against a good team.
