Reputation might have something to do with why we are ranked ahead of you.

Of course, it might also be that you have a 5 TD loss on your resume and an unhealthy reliance on opposing kickers to miss game winning field goals to eek out wins, but it is probably just that reputation thing:whistling:

I'd put the game at pick 'em. UT is playing very well right now, but LSU sure does have the horses to beat you if they put it together.

Some, but not because of what they can do nearly as much as what Florida is NOT doing. The second halves of the last two games for Florida have been really pretty bad offensively, with no scoring at all. At the beginning of the year, Florida came back in the second half to beat UT and came back in the second half to beat Alabama.

But, starting with LSU where Floirida had a bit of a lead at half time, it seems like the offense (meaning Leak) has been way too conservative and careful. Just looks like they plod along, hoping nothing bad happens and that is no way to win football games.

There have been some stories down here about Meyer being po'd about it, but I think he is adding fuel to the fire. I think that Leak is poaralyzed with fear that, if he goes out and throws a couple of picks in the second half of a game and we end up losing, then Tebow will take over.

I did not believe at the beginning of the year that Tebow's success was fazing Leak, but at this point it seems to me like it is. And sad thing is that it isn't Tebow gaining on Leak as much as it is Leak playing scared. Add that to his well known contact-avoidance issues, and you get a very anemic offense once it has a lead.

hey gohog, dont get all excited over your season so far, if you stop the pigs from running, do you think an 18yr old can beat out secondary? I just hope Mustain plays the same way against us that he played against UL-Monroe

Arkansas should be a top 10 team, totally different ballclub since Mustain has taken over. With that being said, the Hogs still got beat like a rented Mule by USC, and UT should be ranked ahead of them in all the polls. No need in coming here and rubbing people the wrong way, we lost one game to Florida by one point. Alot of us here feel we should be the top 1 loss team until we lose. GoHog, opposing fans are generally pretty sharp on this site. You seem to be the exception. No doubt Hogs are a good squad, but you got drummed by So Cal and are certainly beatable. Go spew your venom on the Cocks site and come on back next week. Although I'm not sure a Hog win over the Cocks is in the bag yet. See what the Gamecock nation thinks . . .
