Arky is a one-man show - and, of course, I'm talking about Darren McFadden. Mustain finally had to throw more than 10 passes against ULL and he completed less than 50% of his passes for 78 yards (correct me if that number is wrong) with 2 INTs. 2 INTs against University of Louisiana - Lafayette! Give me a break!

We will stop the Ark run. When facing a one dimensional offense - particularly related to the run - Chavis can scheme with the best of them. Look at our rush defense stats over the past decade. SC was able to run because we were more concerned with containing Newton.

Alabama is like Ark in that we weren't particularly worried about the pass. We held Darby to, what, 36 yards on 14 carries?

Ark will not run the ball well against us.

Some, but not because of what they can do nearly as much as what Florida is NOT doing. The second halves of the last two games for Florida have been really pretty bad offensively, with no scoring at all. At the beginning of the year, Florida came back in the second half to beat UT and came back in the second half to beat Alabama.

But, starting with LSU where Floirida had a bit of a lead at half time, it seems like the offense (meaning Leak) has been way too conservative and careful. Just looks like they plod along, hoping nothing bad happens and that is no way to win football games.

There have been some stories down here about Meyer being po'd about it, but I think he is adding fuel to the fire. I think that Leak is poaralyzed with fear that, if he goes out and throws a couple of picks in the second half of a game and we end up losing, then Tebow will take over.

I did not believe at the beginning of the year that Tebow's success was fazing Leak, but at this point it seems to me like it is. And sad thing is that it isn't Tebow gaining on Leak as much as it is Leak playing scared. Add that to his well known contact-avoidance issues, and you get a very anemic offense once it has a lead.

I'm sure Leak doesn't call his own plays. If offense is too conservative the OC should answer. Or does Leak check a lot at the line?

GoHog, opposing fans are generally pretty sharp on this site. You seem to be the exception. No doubt Hogs are a good squad, but you got drummed by So Cal and are certainly beatable. Go spew your venom on the Cocks site and come on back next week. Although I'm not sure a Hog win over the Cocks is in the bag yet. See what the Gamecock nation thinks . . .

We have gotten better each week. SoCal has lost some players that were contributors. Things have changed since week 1, woouldn't you even say that about Tenn. The thing is we have gotten better each week, while Tenn looks good, looks bad, etc every week. No a win over SC is not a given. No win in the SEC is.

I laugh at the fact you are comparing us to Alabama. Just to point out, our second string RB avg.s about 7 yards more than Darby per game.

WE were about to kill AF: 1. Back to back penalties, and those damn onside kicks. 2. Got Greedy, should of played for the FG and the 17 point lead in the 4th Qu.

A patient of mine gave me a 30 year old hog (looks like something you would win at the fair) today. I was wondering what to do with it, after reading this thread I think I'll burn it.

And passing offense Arkansas is ranked #103 while Tennessee is ranked #9. It's pretty safe to say that Arkansas is one dimensional. Stop the run, stop the Hogs.

I love Hog's insinuation that UT is the weak link pulling down the national attention and that we're regressing every week, while Ark just keeps getting stronger and stronger. Last I checked, UT was still well ahead of Ark in the polls.

Heck, I don't even know why we should make the trip to F'ville. Maybe CPF can meet with the staff and just forfeit instead of withstand the embarassment. And while we're at it, let's go ahead and crown Ark the SEC Champs . . . heck, National Champs. They're really untouchable.

First of all, put a muzzle on ole Smokey, he likes to bite. Predicting an embarassment?? Going out on a limb aren't you? Maybe yall will beat us, but MAYBE NOT. All I am saying is we are more concerned with SC than you, and yall most likely will see the best Defense you've seen all year this weekend. Good Luck, you will need it.:birgits_giggle:

I laugh at the fact you are comparing us to Alabama.

And I laugh at the idea that you're so worried about SC, and not the Vols, yet you're spending all your time on our board. Go bother the Gamecock Nation. Hog is a like a flea, with no meaningful content.

Rushing defense ranks

utah state-112
vandy-95
alabama-26
auburn-44
se missouri-1AA
mississippi-98
la monroe-106

Note the only team you played with a good rushing defense (bama) is the team that should have beaten you if their kicker didnt meltdown. I also didnt include the Trojans because we know what happened there.

Sorry, forgot yall can't read.

I say = ARK worried about SC > TENN
LSU will defeat ( or beat, if that helps) Tenn

You all being worried about unranked team more than a ranked team pretty much sums up Arkansas football in a nutshell.

I think Ark is primed to gift wrap another special victory for the Vols ala Clint Stoerner.
