Marriage is a privilege, not a right. No one has the ‘right’ to get married.

I can understand and even relate a little to what your saying. The Idea of to guys getting down does gross me out. I find women attractive and have never seen a man that I wanted to Booger.

However most Gay Men says the same thing about Women. I have a Gay Cousin and One time I asked him when did he know he was Gay. He looked at me and said Well when did you know your where straight.

It kind of through me for a loop because I was brought up being taught that is was a choice.

I asked him if it was his choice. He said oh yeah I choose to like men and I also made that choice knowing I would be disowned by most of my family and be hated by most of the people in my town.

He said that when he hit puberty no matter how much he tried he never could get sexually attracted to a woman.

I understood then how stupid I was. Two adults Straight, or Gay should have the same rights and freedoms.

the govt grants certain rights to married people (as listed above) that are not afforded to same-sex couples. Do you disagree with that?

You don't know what a right is.

A right is a "legal guarantee". What you are talking about is an "inherent" right. Nobody is saying we inherently have the right to marry. What we are saying is they don't have the right (legal guarantee) to get married, and we enjoy that right.

I agree that special privileges should not be given. However, are some not given to hetero military couples? For example, does a same-sex couple have the same access to housing as a hetero couple? I honestly don't know but I would doubt they do

Marriage is a Legal Contract that two consenting adults enter into. I have no care of how Religions differ on it. Marriage regardless Race, Color, or Sexual preference should be legal. It doesn't matter if me, you, or anyone else finds it immoral or not. Everyones Moral Compass is different.

I think doing fat chicks is sick and gross................I guess I have the right to hate them and it should be illegal to marry them.........just damn ignorant

I don't care one way or the other about gay marriage other than states should be able to decide for themselves.

I do have a question though, should a buisness owner be forced to offer benifits, insurance for example, to a gay partner of an employee? Even if it goes against their religious beliefs?

The problem is we live in a society where everyone uses big government to force their will on others. If you don't have a government that tells people who they can marry, then you probably don't have a government that forces you to insure your employees.

I'm against government force in both cases. You like government force when it suits you.
