If it was found out that a boy was taking showers with girls in High School

Dads would be at the school screaming for someone to be fired

If they found out a gay male was in shower and they screamed about it you would call them homophobes and that they hate and were Bible thumpers

As a dead honest question why do you think boys and girls aren't allowed to shower together? If the answer is an inappropriate mixing of genders/sexuality then wouldn't a homosexual boy, in fact, run right up against the same issues/concerns?

I'm not trying to be argumentative, I'm honestly wondering what people think in comparing the two scenarios.

How did this all turn into a person jumping in the shower with others debate? I am not ok with anyone, girl or boy showering with my child when she is under 18...........or really up until she is 98

The only issue here is the demand for special privileges, which especially in the military, should not be given.

LOL! Not sure how we got there but the subject came up which prompted my question. I'm not judging the answers, just wondering what people's thoughts were with the comparison.

Again, Im not ok with my child showering with anyone, no matter age, sex, or sexual orientation. It has absolutely nothing to do with tolerance of homosexuality nor does it have a thing to do with special privileges that homosexuals may be given.

But if your daughter is on a sports team they girls change and shower together and a boy cant do it with them..he may get turned on and lust over your naked daughter..and you would have a right to get mad

But a gay boy can do it with the boys! .. and its OK for him to get turned on and lust over my son?..but i have no right to get mad and am labled a bigot
