What's the X plan? My Company has a buying program where I can get between $3K and $4K off sticker that I was planning on using.

Ok. That sounds like a similiar program.

Ford offers several package levels of discounts for family and friends of employees and vendors. My wife works for a large company which has the X plan program.

Im allowed 2 a year.

Good luck OP

My dad had the odyssey when my little brother was young. He loved them.

Granted he lives in Cali. :)

When I buy new ( I know this isn't relavent, I use the X plan through Ford.) usually saves me 6-10k off sticker. (Depending on vehicle)
OP may see if Honda offers something similiar. Maybe a family member that has connections.
If I buy a jeep I'll use the Chrysler affiliate plan which is 1% below invoice plus any factory incentives then available. Problem is trying to get someone to sell a popular model that's going for MSRP at the affiliate program rate ain't so easy unless you have a volume dealer and we don't seem have a true volume dealer of jeep products in Nashville.

Have you tried towards the end of a month? I'm not sure if jeep does a stair step (manuf bonus for number of units) program. A dealer who is close to meeting their stair step might take your deal.

I like it. The boys in the ford forums are giving it great reviews.

The new mustang is killer. Along with the new raptor pushing 575hp. (Previous models pushed 411 NA)

The RS?

Yeah, that thing is gonna be cool, but about $37,000, so about $17,000 out of my budget.

Happy that it is coming to America, performance is alive and well.

That's what I meant. I'm very interested. May have to trade the Mustang in

You should do it. Wait till 8 months though. Let the first buyers deal with scarcity mark ups.

This cold winter and lack of Miata has gotten me a bit of car cabin fever. I keep thinking "hmm, I could afford that". Thing is though, with the money I would spend on a monthly payment, I could put that to use on making my Miata an absolute hootenanny! I also need to save money for retirement and retaking the bar exam in several years.

I'll seriously consider it once I test drive one and see how it reviews. I don't really want a car payment, but I just got promoted so I can deal with one. I have good credit so I know I'd get a low interest rate.

On a soap box
You should retake the bar this year and start driving the V Cadillacs, and don't get married and you'll have plenty of money for toys in the garage

That's one way I suppose. Unfortunately I think I need at least $5000 to retake the bar, between the test, prep class, and time off of work.

There's something about the new CTS that bothers me, and for the money, I'd rather have an M4 or an RS5.

I've driven a couple as loaners. I'm not a big fan of the turbo. Rather just have a 3.6L if I ever bought one. The ATS really is just a nice Malibu, can't even get heated seats in one which boggles my mind for a Caddy. XTS is nice but just doesn't have the right exterior look IMO, too generic.

The ats shares very little with the Malibu, the ats has its own unique chassis. The loaner you were driving was simply a stripped out base model. That's why there were no heated seats. Just like bmw, Audi, and Merc, heated seats are not standard equipment at that size.

Which one of the caddies is supercharged? I have heard its a beast. 500+hp I believe.
