Kool-Aid is your friend in thinking he is "on-track"...

I'm just trusting the numbers. He's done it both places he's been. We obviously don't know if the trend will continue until they actually take the field in 2014, but when Jones and company get the players that work best with the schemes, we shouldn't be complaining that the sky is falling. We're currently holding together one of the best signing classes in the entire country and we sure as hell didn't use 2013's on field product to attract any of them.

Hood talked about the disappointments of this senior class & it was their burden to bear these bad times, but felt better times were ahead. Sounded to me like he had Priest a little choked up.

It was good interview.

He also said we finally got a coach in butch.... In Butch we trust

Maybe if we switched to the MAC or Big East

I thought you were being overly negative the last few weeks, but now I recognize your reactions as pretty well warranted.

All we have left at this point is hope, though. Nothing more to point to. We can't start all over with another coaching search for several more years.

I hope Jones wins here. I really do. But last night shook my confidence in a big, big way.

Every player was someone else's player at sometime

This team 118 coming in has not been schooled in the Philosophy of Butch their entire time

Each individual has to molded just like these current players should have been molded

Key phrase being should have been. Bringing in guys you can mold from the start as opposed to guys who have already worked under a previous coaching staff (a poor one at that) can make a world of difference.

Vandy isn't the same old **** hole team they use to be. Everyone acts like we just lost to GA southern . Vandy has won allot of games the last few years. We need more playmakers. When North went down we lost our only threat to catch a ball down the field. Our line can't run block so were screwed.

His record is pretty solid if you're referring to his record as a head coach......much better than Dools. That's the only thing giving me a little hope.

The thing is same people are making excuses for butch was sunshine pumpers pumping Dooley as well. Basically the sunshine pumpers are no more accurate than the fire him now crowd on wether he is worth a damn. I know so far he doesn't pass the eye test when it comes to x&o's.

Not an exact quote, but the main thing I heard was " we seniors wish he would have got here 3 years earlier." Shows how schitty dools was.

You guys realize Malzahn was Chiziks' OC and recruited each of those players for HIS offense? Read. It will help with the ignorance. Stupid can't be helped. Sorry.

Heard it...he's a good kid...certainly a VFL...played to the best of his ability while here...

Butch Jones still is more of a trumpet player than a football coach...his record & decision making show it...

Bring on the "gets it" crowd to pump sunshine...

with 4 conference titles in 7 years of coaching he must be one hell of a trumpet player.
