In an interesting turn of events, sources close to the NFL have revealed that Tennessee Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill may be available for trade in the coming weeks. Teams across the league are reportedly monitoring the situation closely, with some considering making a move for the talented quarterback.

The news has sent shockwaves through the league, with many speculating about the potential implications of a Tannehill trade. One team that could be impacted significantly is the Tennessee Titans themselves, who were thought to be considering selecting Tennessee quarterback Hendon Hooker in the upcoming draft.

I love HH, but I’ll be honest, I don’t think any of the QBs are high first rounders. Stroud is the only one I think is worth a top 15 pick.
I may be wrong, and I hope Hooker is drafted high and proves me wrong, but his age and knee would give me pause.

Young is small, AR can’t hit the broad side of a barn, and Levis just sucks. JMO…..

On some places like the Titans reddit, some Titan fans don't want Hooker in the first but would be ok with him in later rounds. They say something like UT fans aren't the only ones that watch Titans football.
I say Titans should want Hooker simply to get butts in the seats because you know UT fans will turn out in bigger numbers than just Titan fans. Also they want a new stadium built, at least make look like you got the crowds to do it. I went to a Titans game last year and my first UT game last year. The comparison wasn't even close. UT beat the Titans experience by a long shot but as far as Tannehill. He's a good QB, may even get you in to wildcard/playoff game but that's as far as you're going. The AFC is stacked with QBs. You're not going to get very far with a 1st and out QB that also tends to get hurt.

I think if TN traded up it would be for Shroud though. I'm ok taking Hooker at 11 if that's what they want to do.

I think Young is going to fool people. AR could be a killer QB if he puts in the work and get coaching like Hurts did. I wouldn't draft him if I'm TN as they already have one project QB. Levis. I saw him at the UT/KY game and he sucked and gave up. Seen his other games and he wasn't that good. He'd need to step into an already made powerhouse team to look good.
I'm not worried about Hookers ACL. That surgery has come a long way. Basketball players are more likely to have ACL injuries because of the movements. Look at Klay Thompson. Tore an ACL 1 year and then tore the other the next season and still out there draining buckets.

Young is much better than Stroud. Yeah he is smaller but you cannot argue his intangibles, guts and winning mindset. I mean he is the best QB in Bamas history. He is easily a top 15 pick.

I expect Hendon Hooker to be taken in the first round of the draft. He is being given grades by many as the third best QB in the draft. FWIW, Chris Simms has him as a top 12 pick even with the ACL. The only true downside to HH is the injury. His age simply speaks to his maturity. HH won't give you problems like Deshaun Watson. HH won't bring the drama like a Johnny Manziel, Kyler Murray or Baker Mayfield. In the end, this is the United States of America and everyone has the right to be as stupid as you want and this includes NFL GM's, remember Jamarcus Russell? I expect a team to make a smart decision and take Hendon early.

I might be/probably am wrong, but I just don’t see any of them as “can’t miss.” Even many “can’t miss” do miss, so who knows.

Rumor has it that Stroud scored in the 18th percentile on the S2 Cognition test, which purports to measure players' informational processing and reaction speed — areas of key importance for quarterbacks.

If so, that's a big red alert.

Guess we'll see. I don't put a lot of weight in test but rather what they do in games on the field.

I just don't see TN trading up to get Hooker so if they did I can only guess it would be Stroud or maybe that's before the reports came out.
I'd love for the to take Hooker at 11 though.

Personally, I’d wait for next season for a QB for the Titans. Much more is needed.

Where/when do you guys think he goes? When do you think he deserves to be drafted?
Here is my take. He is our first QB that deserves to be taken in the first round in a very long time. I hope he goes to the Saints. Could yall just imagine Hooker and Kamara on the field at the same time?

Just tell Hooker to avoid getting in the same elevator as Kamara

Allegedly, Hooker didn't do that great either. Scored in the 40's. Bryce Young scored 98. Again, is it true? No clue. Does it matter? Probably not.

If they ever find a test that measures heart the draft will become a science rather than a crap shoot.

Honestly I think it does.. more so what they comfortably know what to do in certain situations. I looked up what they measured :
Perception speed
Search efficiency
Tracking capacity
Visual learning
Instinctive learning
Decision complexity
Distraction control
Impulse control
Improvisation
The more an NFL knows what the player reacts to different things, the LESS teaching the NFL team will have to teach/develop. Or which way the player responds to teaching/motivations. For instance, someone who is “low” on visual learning might not understand a playbook that well. Hooker might’ve had “low” decision complexity because of the offense we ran. If he only has 2 options all the time, increasing more options might’ve been harder for him to decide which was the better play. Teams just want to know the nitty gritty on if a QB is gonna understand their system I guess.

But I will also say that I think certain measures are more important to nfl than others. Like I think the “improvisation” score is a bigger deal
