Hope they are right, but this is wild

I was scrolling through instagram and saw this. I understand the hype, but 5th highest odds for Nico to win the Heisman next year? Seems a little high and optimistic. I wonder if the sports book is trying to take advantage of the hype from the bowl and strike while the iron is hot. What are your thoughts?
I think its crazier that Milroe is even in the discussion. He is trash and was trash before the playoff game.

Nico will have the hype and the Heup on his side. He will also have a big stage to do it on. Never know but I doubt it.

Did you actually WATCH Nico in the bowl game? Well, its clear they did. Nico came to us as the #1 QB recruit and it is clear that with the year to absorb he is ready to take his place. He had a LOT of intangibles that were clear to even people like me. But for butterfingers Keyton, his stats would be crazy high for a true freshman debut. He needs to learn to throw the ball away instead of eat it at times but against a top defense, he was amazing for his first start.

There is a reason these guys are pumping Nico Suave's hype. If our OL can keep him from getting hurt, he is going to be something seriously special. If we can get guys who can actually catch those perfectly thrown balls of his, it may be sooner than we think.
Really poor taste for label on Keyton. Let's see how many attempts by Nico to Ramel this year. Yeah not many. Was that you earlier today that had a rude comment...on Keyton? Some folks, apparently, get off on bad mouthing players. So sad..

I dont think I have mentioned Keyton before but I was certainly frustrated by his multiple drops where they were right in his hands. If he doesnt like the appelation, catch the ball. I can see not catching some of the ones Milton threw at times that made them stretch or have to turn back but most of those Nico threw were pretty solid in the window.

It was Volarius. I checked as I didn't want even an appearance of tying you to that inappropriate post. Again, "butterfingers" isn't very kind. You referenced Nico to him issue. I asked how many attempts and drops from duo? Didn't finish his route in bowl game is not a drop. Just poor route running. Did he think only Joe could throw that deep or as they said looking back in light as endzone was shaded on that throw.. Point is no spandex on term "butterfingers" if very limited attempts. You paint it as if he had a whole season . So simply supply number of attempts and completions Nico to Ramel to back the mean label.

Okay, listen. I'm with you all on the "we don't care, it's a stupid award, selected in a retarded way, etc., etc."

Totally feel you.

On the other hand, if Nico DOES win the Heisman, you know we will collectively go nuts in celebration. For him, not for the award, but for him. For the validation of his excellent mastery of the game of football.

Whether we think they get it wrong 80% of the time or not, we'll all KNOW they got it right this time.

Go Vols!
Would be cool to see Nico and Smokey playing fetch on the lawn of the Heisman house.

Not if you're a Tennessee Vol

You'd think after ALL the years and then last year not even invite Hendon to NY...folks would get it.
Those northern biased voters aren't going to vote for anyone from Tennessee, no matter how good they are. Example # 1: Look what they did to Peyton Manning.
Same reason they keep Ohio State up there in the top 5 every year, and you see what happens when those guys actually play a real team. Smack! Then there's Iowa, they say was one of the best defensive teams in the nation. Look who they played against. Then when they played Michigan, Penn State, & Tennessee they got skunked--zero. Zip!. Yet they like to put them on a pedestal. Iowa is lucky Wright & Small opted out of the bowl game or the game would have been over after the first quarter.

They will invite a player from Ohio State and Michigan and then ESPN will start the every year push for the TUN. To heck with the Heistman. Peyton got screwed. Never forget.

I watched the 30 for 30 last night. It was sickening how ESPN literally campaigned for Woodson, just shameful. And this is the group that are doing SEC games starting next year.

2 of those QBs won’t be playing in the SEC next year 😬. Going to be a tough league.

I pray the Suave label gets dumped quickly. Why make fun of our own player?

I always hate asking these questions. Language is so fluid today, and so many normal and "good" words get appropriated to mean something vulgar.

But this is all I know after 69 years of speaking English:

suave
/swäv/
adjective
1. charming, confident, and elegant (typically used of a man).

So what modern pop reference or urban slang makes this making fun of our own player?
