Horrible coaching at end of purdue game

For the record, the title of this thread was created not by me, but the poster below me. I ended up being the first post as a result of a merge, so don't get on my case about being a Pearl hater. My original thread title is "3 Pointer FTW".

amen!! how many times are we going to see this same terrible coaching at the end of games when we have timeouts left. they dont carry over to the next game. USE THEM!!!!!!!!!!

I hate to say it, but a timeout could have set up a play for Tyler to drive. Instead we had our best rebounder (although a decent 3 shooter) take an ill advised shot.

we had momentum and a wide open look... can't ask for much more, just have to execute. We weren't good out of set plays all night so there is no reason to think we would have been there if CP had called a timeout.

Bad shot selection... when Purdue missed the FTs, I was thinking great now we just pound it inside for a close shot and/or foul. Then, a 3 gets jacked. I know I would have been going crazy if he hit it, but WHY if you don't need it???
