Mnuchin won't give a straight answer, there's a shock. But obviously he will resist it.

Aside from the legalities, Trump repeatedly promised to release them, and has not. I think you would have to be a pretty big fool not to suspect there is something in them. At this point, I'm thinking they would not square up with the financials he submitted to banks. So either he defrauded the banks or engaged in tax evasion. Maybe both.

Obama also promised change we could believe in.

Or maybe he said it’s really none of your business. If there was an issue I’m sure the IRS would make it known but of course you’d rather have congress put on a show.

LG, give it a ****ing break man. Seriously. We aren't going to learn anything from his tax returns except that he takes advantage of every loophole he can to pay the least he can, and good for him for doing it. Whatever else you think they're going to find... I can only imagine.

Dems gonna lose again if they don't start focusing on their own platform instead of petty **** like this.

TY Mercy. If I'm ever a Billionaire I'm going to use every loophole I can to keep as much of my money every year as I can. Why wouldn't anybody?

Purposefully overstating your income to secure a loan, whilst simultaneously understating to evade taxes, is not a "loophole."

How many personal loans/mortgages do you think Trump has applied for over the last 20-30 years?

I one up them, and have a new bill in hand ready for vote, and willfully go under a full forensic audit when all of the House and Congress members agree to the same. We can actually pass a new bill stipulating all elected senators and congressmen will from this day on, be subject to one every year. What makes for a more level and fair playing field than for all of us to be "transparent"?

why anyone would condone; let alone celebrate this type of blatant political use of subpoena power is beyond me. It is exactly the reason government should have less power.

Funny how this has never been an issue the last 40 years.
