House Dems about to ask for Trump tax returns

The only thing you have been correct about.

I recall @lawgator1 also stating that Trump wouldn't get Mexico to pay for the wall, repeal or replace Obamacare, lower the deficit, be transparent, act like a grown up or lower prescription drug costs. Or did you just mean that was the only thing he has been correct about on this page?

You hang on his nuts so you would know.

Superb comeback. You can log off now, you've reached the mountain top.

LOL, but in fairness the entire Western World that did not get suckered into voting for that rodeo clown Trump pretty much knew what we were in for. And he has not disappointed.

It just looks like the mountaintop when you are down there at the bottom of a nutsack.

Beautifully orchestrated deflections, well done. Who says you can't teach old dogs new tricks?

A fishing expedition sponsored by the Democratic party. Don't you think that if had done something wrong on his taxes that the IRS would have figured it out? What is NY state going to do about all of the people moving to Florida?

All that does is make me wish we could force all of congress to release tax returns and net worth going back 20 years. I have a feeling we'd get a nice turnover and possible need another federal prison. Going after Trump is like watching them take the hook if it leads to forcing all federal politicians to disclose taxes.

Speaking of rodeo clowns, have you watched any of the Nadler hearing questioning Cory Lewandowski? The democrats have lost their freaking minds.

Yes, and I'm wondering whether Lewandowski can be held in criminal contempt in this process and go to jail, as he should.

Criminal contempt for what? Being close to Trump and claiming executive privilege for not revealing what he talked to the President about? That holds about as much water as does asking for the last 8 years of Trumps tax forms. Your party is floundering and they've hitched their wagon to the get Trump campaign which they'll find out in a little over a year will decimate them.

The process was changed to an impeachment investigation/inquiry and my quesiton is whether the ability to shield such information is arguably lessened such that refusing to answer is contempt that can result in criminal liability.

In any event, in the larger picture, some reigns need to be placed on this nebulous "executive privilege" concept, regardless of the administration. If you are asked by the POTUS, regardless of party, to take some overtly illegal act (be it perjury, fail to act, accept a bribe, obstruction, what have you) then the POTUS should not be allowed to claim that instruction is somehow privileged. Again, that is not even specific to Trump, though he has abused the concept here quite a bit.

Yes, if a President asks you to break the law you shouldn't be "commanded" to keep quiet. They also have an obligation to not say any and everything they talked about to the President to congress, especially to some nitwit like Jerry Nadler.

Lewandowski is awesome. Lol. Looks like dims played their entrapment card waaaayyyyyyyy too early.

The executive doesn’t have the authority to unilaterally end a congressional impeachment inquiry.

At this point, if they just impotently let Lewandowski walk, they’re doing as much harm as Trump.

What happens if someone refuses to swear to tell the truth?

"Umm no I can't swear to tell the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth but I'll get as close as I can"

I hope you have great medical care, you're gonna need it when Trump gets re-elected. with 4 more years you might blow a gasket.

Trumps' 199a tax deductions are going to save me a bundle. I don't necessarily have a problem with many of his policies, just his intellect, behavior and the fact he's duped people into believing he's any different. And I do have pretty good medical care, thanks.

I’m gonna assume you penciled someone else in and didn’t vote for the hag. If you did vote for her then, good god man.

I voted for Johnson because Clinton is just as sleezy as Trump.
