Once I read a book
And this is what it said
If your music has a beat
Then you're gonna wind up dead
It doesn't really matter if it's Christian or not
If it's syncopated rhythm then your soul is gonna rot
And this book was called "Ha! Your Gonna Burn"
And in the second chapter I went on to learn


Take two houseplants
And put them to the test
Set them both in front of speakers
And let the music do the rest
The first one you play Mozart
Or something lovely like that
The second one you play that Petra Or that MegaDeth.
Doesn't really matter what kind of rock it is.

The plants I've had in my other pot (I've had 2 in the past 6 months) just can't seem to stay alive. The first one was some kind of lily with red blooms (the house lillies were also recognized as good home air filters) and the one I have now seems to be browning up on me already. :cray:

The plant on the right is what I have in my office. It started out pretty small but it is about 6ft long now (I have it in a pot on top of a filing cabinet).

That sucks. Moving is hard on plants. I lost a few moving from UT to AZ, and I'm somewhat experienced with house plants.

Don't give up. Try it again! I don't know if Bonzais are easy, but there are a lot of really easy plants out there. My rubber plant and snake plant were 2 of my first ones and I never had problems with them. They are also on NASA's list of best air filtering plants.

This is what 2012 came to, a house plants thread?

My ex gf and I tried growing these 4 house plants once in her apartment. One day we walk out on her balcony and the next thing I saw was the sliding glass door security "stick" sliding right into place. We flagged this woman down and asked her to come into the apartment and free us from the balcony. The next thing we realize is that this woman might see our house plants. Whatcha gonna do?
She freed us from our balcony cell and nothing came of the situation. The plants never fruited and died on there own later on.
