Out of town so no pics but I have done:

Remodeled bathrooms
Rewired electrical
Totally redid kitchen..down to studs and back
Replaced all windows
Screened in pool

And this year I tore up 1500 square feet of tile, used a concrete grinder for an entire week to smooth the floor out then laid down a nice floating engineered wood floor.

I recommend if you buy a house with lots of tile make sure you LOVE it and never want to remove it..

Next:
1.Redo pool waterline tile
2.Replace solar panel pool heaters
3.
4. Profit

If you were putting in floating floor would self leveling concrete not solve the problem without the use of the grinder?

Doing my roof before june, sitting on materials waiting for a weather break.

I miss the new homeowner enthusiasm, instead of "FML the next 2 consecutive cool dry days I'll be out of work and on my damned roof"

I can find you a few. I live outside of Nashville but my cousin owned a high end residential construction company in Knoxville, until 6 years ago when he got out of it. I'll see if he can't help with a few recommendations.

Need names soon.

Still haven't found a solution, LOL. They are 5.5 inches, which Lowe's and Home Depot don't even carry. I have to order online and I've found some, but nothing perfect and they're all pricey, so I'm still looking. I figure oil rubbed bronze would look good.

Let me know if you have any ideas.

ORB or an aged pewter.
