House votes to decriminalize marijuana at federal level

Isn't there long term heavy use issue with alcohol and smoking? Alcohol also effects people different
We're talking about marijuana here. Let's stick to the subject and focus on the content of the articles instead of the constant whataboutisms. Can we do that?

I'm just pointing out it's a weak argument given what already availed snd widly used..please carry on

It's a weak argument when nobody can debunk anything in the articles or scientific studies I've posted
There is nothing to debunk in an opinion article..that use phrases like

found that drug use was linked to a fivefold increase in violence, and the drug used was nearly always cannabis.

The drug they are most likelyto use is cannabis.

None of these studies prove that rising cannabis use has caused population-wide increases in psychosis or other mental illness, although they do offer suggestive evidence of a link.

It's a reach at best with unclear data...this also happens to be at a time when mental illness is pushed and encouraged by MSM...if your anti weed...Cool. find a real study...not one that can't verify the results that they say they found

Knowing exactly how much of that increase is related to cannabis is impossible without researching every crime.

Also they said there is 150 years of data linking weed to madness yet...give no proof or reference to a source.

There are actual valid arguments against it when it comes to heavy, recreational use. Long term heavy, recreational use is not good for anyone. Also it seems THC can have a different effect on some people than it can others.
You can't be this stupid. Heavy alcohol use will kill you. Heavy cigarette smoking is likely to kill you. Heavy marijuana use might kill you (you can get cancer) but its more likely to make you lazy. How can you argue against this?

You mean the articles from a person making a living vilifying mj that states

Only scientific study I saw on cannabis users lungs was years ago, and it said cannabis users had stronger lungs. The tar is not cigarette tar. Cannabis expands your bronchial tubes as they relax (it's an anti inflammatory). You'll find if you smoke too much regularly and then quit, you will expel some phlegm (cough it up). I tend to think it might take other particulates with it. That's my personal belief tho. I don't do all the "hard stuff" the kids are fed these days tho. All the chemical concentrates they sell is not something I've ever gotten into or tried. I imagine that has the same dangers as regular vaping.... what ever that is. I have to be approved by my legit physician and he says I have 98% oxygen rate at my age. Not bad.

No, we can’t. Unless you are advocating for making alcohol and tobacco illegal these arguments have zero merit. It’s perfectly valid to compare with them in a marijuana argument.

In fact it is a perfectly reasonable to say marijuana is the least dangerous of the 3.

Argue for all 3 to be illegal or let the least dangerous be legal is my position.

It also affects intelligence and cognitive abilities……obviously.

Where did I say it should be illegal? And where can you actually prove it's the safest of the 3?

I'm simply providing what's been written in articles which also links to studies. What in the articles I've provided so you disagree and what can you actually debunk?

I just don't see paying $5 for a cup of burnt coffee.
How dare you sir! Those are organically charred, triple roasted , held between a robust Columbian woman's thighs for a fortnight, non-gmo coffee beans, lovingly
ground and brewed in a safe space. $5 is not enough.....
