How accurate is "Neyland News"? (Curt Maggitt)

No offense but I care. He's a monster when healthy and he plays a position that has zero depth on this team.
the vols actually do have some depth at LB, just questionable talent. Sapp likely starts at olb. bynum, lewis, harris coming off injury. Vereen is good and will eventually play. Propst and fugate will likely back up AJJ. Crump-not that good. losing maggitt would be problematic. Maybe he will stay for his SR yr

Don't try to tell these geniuses any of this truthful garbage. They wanna act as if we have 75 on scholly and 5 of those are LBs. I made the same point earlier and Tennessee is doom and gloom to some "supporters."

Who cares? If he's hurt, then next man up. If he's not, then if he earns it let him play.

Side note- he's been hurt every year so regardless if he is healthy now, his history says that he is injury prone.

Ughh I care!

He is the 2nd best LB on our team IMO.

Losing him for a whole season would hurt.

You're telling me that you wouldn't want him to play, wish he was healthy or nothing?

There is talk that Brent Brewer may be moved to OLB during the spring. They tried it to start last spring, but he was coming off the ACL tear, and got moved back to safety since he was limited to little to no contact. Didn't think he would have enough time to learn the position because of the no contact situation. He was always too slow for a safety, and may be better suited for OLB. He can lay a hit on you. Don't know if that will work out, but it's worth a try. I do hope CM can play this season, but not unless he's at 100%. It's not worth the risk to the young man.

Fun fact: Neyland News took down his silly uninformed post from Facebook, proving that this was a misinformed attempt to look like he has something resembling inside information.

It's not completely untrue. I know Curt personally and he's trying to make it back from all of his injuries. Who knows if he will be back for fall, but he's def out for spring. He's just trying to stay optimistic, but it's not looking as well as everyone is speculating. He wants to be 110% healthy and he's nowhere close. He said if he has to sit out fall to get healthy he will, as he does not want to play at 70 or 80%. Personally, I'd rather him sit out rather than lose him 1 or 2 games into the season.

According to this page, we were supposed to pull in just about EVERYONE on NSD. So no, not gospel
