Will conference championship game still be held while moving to the new 12 team playoff system?

I may have missed this discussion somewhere but how many games would be played if conference championship games are still played and after all playoff games are finished?

yes to Championship games still existing. but it seems like everyone is dropping divisions and will just go with the two best.

all told a team COULD end up playing 17 games.

12 Regular Season. Conference Championship Game. 4 Playoff games. Theoretically you could play 18 if you play Hawaii.

Conference Champs, with a first round bye, or a team who didn't make their conference championship would end up playing 16 if they made the title game.
