How do you feel about Halzle taking the reins?

How confident are you in Halzle's ability to run the offense?

Did not click on one but if you had one that said if nobody knew Golesh left and Halze took over, I would have clicked there , much ado about nothing IMO or same thing different name but same at top. It's not like Cutcliffe leaving and Vols go downhill he comes back we go back up leaves again bottom out. This is not a Cutcliffe situation thankfully.

"Predict" is probably the wrong term, as that implies response based on statistical analysis. AI would be taking into account the opponent's emotional frame of mind, the importance of the game within the season, even the coach's perceived job security.

The difference between a computer and AI is... AI would become the opponent in order to determine his next move.

Thank you for your wonderful response. AI in its current form is nothing more than higher order statistical regression analysis. AI can only take into account what data is fed into its training. If things like job security, importance of game with in the season etc are part of the training model, it could easily add that complexity. However, a simple machine learning model that is trained based on how successful previous calls were based on down & distance, score, personnel and formation can give quick options to play caller; might as well show multiple options with their predicted success rates. The play caller can then pick and choose what it wants.
AI again in its current form is highly advanced regression analysis tool that does great job filtering and presenting the results based on its training data set. I am interested to see where it heads from here.

Honest question, because I am too lazy to look it up. Did Spurrier have OC's? And if he did ,did any fans worry about who they were?

It’s hard to say what it is I see in him. Wonder how our offense will always be with him. Words can’t say, but tempo can do enough prove it’s effective too

Heupel was on the sideline calling plays frequently last year. He will do the same this year, and probably more.

Fulmer called plays for Johnny Majors, he was OC for the Miracle at SB

Yep, Fulmer did call the great screen play that got us the lead in the 4th quarter.
I don't think Aaron Hayden was touched on his way to the end zone.

I would agree with you 100% if Fulmer was a former qb turned OC. This is Hypes offense coach Fulmer was a lineman that never created an offense or called plays. If it doesn't work out Hype will call the plays if he doesn't already

Though Fulmer did call plays as the OC under Majors, but he had Cutcliffe as assistant OC to help him out.

Having said that, I hope you are right and I am wrong.

I was wrong about Fulmer calling plays but you get the point. It's Hypes offense so he will have major input or be calling the plays himself. We will be fine

Lebby, Golesh, Hazele? As Hillary Clinton once stated, What difference does it make? This has been one of the most productive offenses in the nation for the last 5-6 years.

Golesh makes a game out of what should have been a Bama blowout. Halzle ain't it. Called it.
