How in the world

496 yards in 10 games.

I understand Amari Cooper, and Treadwell? at Ole Miss being good. GA & FL WR were/are still banged up. USCe and Miss St have one or two good ones each. Aub has highly rated WRs but it didn't really show last year except a few flashes.

Mizzou, LSU, aTm, Vandy all depleted.

Ark & UK N/A.

Geez I don't understand how anyone can complain about Sammie Coates being picked ahead of North . While Coates only had 4 more catches than North, he had 406 more yards than North and 7 times the td's . I believe he was 2nd in the country with almost 22 ypc . The guy was amazing .

Pretty sure the ranking has a lot to do with our projected QB and Oline. Plug in Bama's line and QB and suddenly North is first team.

Yes he did. And what a catch it was...

Can you imagine anyone being more chiseled than that guy?

Hey, maybe North and the whole team will be so-so. Maybe the Vols will just win 4 or 5 games. Maybe the UF game will be another write-in L and maybe people will be second guessing CBJ. However, in my 63 years of processing oxygen on this planet, I've not seen so much young, enthusiastic, overtly athletic talent being so overlooked and looked at as a mirror-image of the previous year's bunch, and I've not seen so much pessimism over such a college program in general (but not by all of us). Odds are, all these nay-sayers are going to be surprised at the outcome of the 2014 Volunteer football season. This year, our QBs have targets who'll be where they're supposed to be thrown to. It makes a world of difference. I'm calling Worley to be FAR better than average and North 1st team SEC.

All that's gonna do is make them play harder to prove the pundits wrong. This will play into our hands. Let them rate all of our studs as middle of the road :):):)

does Marques North get voted 3rd team All SEC?

Are there that many better WRs in the SEC?

I may be biased, but to me that is just crazy

There ain't nuttin better Count than free bulletin board material to get kids fired up.

That means he's in the top 6 out of at least 50 wide outs in the best conference in the nation. That's pretty good.
