how is Hussein Obama going to pay for this

It most certainly does if you're improving/building infrastructure...which BTW is long overdue

I have a really good idea why it hasn't been done...........Maybe because our government would rather implement new programs for the social good instead (vote buying) instead of doing that which they are mandated to do by the constitution.

Both parties are guilty of this. I just happen to see more blame warranted of liberal democrats.

what good is building a bridge to that shiny new mall if businesses can't afford to locate there because of high corporate taxes and asinine things like Card Check?

having 5000 construction workers in your city working on infrastructure might help the local economy, but they also contribute to various criminal activities.

What will the left say when Halliburton and it's subsidiaries capture huge contracts in places like New York and Chicago?

Stereotype much?

if it's true, it's not a stereotype. We're not talking about the Christians in Action of Mayberry.

Obama is also a global warming alarmist, these massive infrastructure improvements are going to be an environmentalist's nightmare. I've never seen an electric road grader or solar powered cement mixer. Couple that with all the congestion that will be caused and whammo, the only people working are the construction workers, everybody else will be stuck in traffic.

Something supremely ironic about that complaint coming from Bush supporters.

i disagreed with his spending while he was president. obama will spend more than Bush will and he'll also raise taxes. it's going to be a while until our economy starts improving.

If the government nationalizes everything, you might as well kiss Free Markets goodbye.

I'm not going to say what I feel about Bush, but we have more, potentially, to be afraid of with Obama, given the amount of power he and the government are being given.

Raise taxes? I was watching Huckabee and he said that we had elected the Dem version of Ronald Reagan, as have many other right wing strategists and politicians. Hell, he promised to cut taxes for 95% of the population.

which, on it's face, is a blatant lie. Obama is nothing like Reagan. Reagan knew you couldn't nationalize healthcare and he knew that granting labor unions even more power was counter-productive to economic growth.

I don't think that 95% of Americans even pay income taxes. He'll "lower taxes" by handing out even more checks to people guised as tax vouchers, but the top 5% already pay well over 50% of all income taxes in the United States. I have a problem when people say someone is "too rich" or needs to pay more than their fair share, just because they have more to begin with.
