How is USC's program in better shape than ours

while they do have some scholarship and probation issues that will catch up with them later on

they hadn't gone through 2 major coaching changes in 3 years that caused many of their current or future (depth wise) players to either leave early or transfer to other schools

USC has yet to lose any scholarships due to their appeal that was rejected. They still lose 30 over the next 3 years. It will hurt them too. No way you lose that many and it not.

Yeah, but they get to cherry pick 10 less players per year over the next 3. They will have some serious depth issues.

They will, but we'll have to see what the conference looks like then; that's the biggest difference between the Pac-X and the SEC. In the SEC, there are ups and downs but it's normally the usual suspects at the top of the conference. The balance of power in the Pac-12 is turned on its head in a span of about four or five years.

You forgot about location location location....Lets see, If your a top recruit would you A: go to Tennessee where it is freezing cold all year long with a suspect coaching staff or B: Go to USC where it is beautiful and warm with palm trees everywhere and hot babes in bikinis all year?...Sure the coach is a jerk and a moron but damn the benefits.

Calling Tennessee freezing all year round is by far one of the most ignorant things I've ever read. Come trade places in Michigan with me. God, I don't get people sometimes. Is it ignorance or downright stupidity?

Having your best win come against a team that got beat by about the 4th or 5th best team in the Big East isn't an accomplishment either.

Notre Dame has beaten a team that has now beaten Ohio State, Michigan, and Wisconsin in consecutive games.

And they have also lost to Michigan and USF, so what exactly is your point? USC beat an inconsistent team, congrats. Go pleasure yourself.

Who was the guy who said the west coast has no major programs but USC?

Meaning?... THIS is a place that is freezing all year. Tennessee is in the heart of the South. I've lived in South Carolina, Tennessee, and Mississippi prior to living here in Michigan. Dumb statement to call Tennessee a cold place. I love warm weather too, but man, WINTERS in Tennessee are better than my spring.

I would also kill to have Pete Carroll's recruits and play a Pac-12 schedule.

Granted about the recruits, but we're shaping up to be 2-6 in league play this season, but I doubt we'd do any better than 3-6 with SC's conference slate.

Who are the six games? Outside of Stanford Oregon and Arizona State I'm not sure i see any

You honestly think a healthy UT team loses to Cal, Arizona, Utah, Colorado, Washington, or UCLA? Ban yourself for a day unless you are talking about the current team we have at this moment in time.

I thought it was implied.

Then I definitely agree. No way, you see us losing more than 2-3 vs. their schedule if healthy, right. It is what it is, if you take our Woods and Barkley, they could potentially be winless.
