How many more commitments do we take

I don't think many.. Most of them knew this is a rebuilding job. Still is at this point. Everyone got the false hope going after feeling good about some moral victories. We're still about where most projected us to be.

I agree. I think the 4 we have are pretty locked in. Jones and Stewart would be Vols if we won 2 games this year. Hall is injured and IMO will be very appreciative that the staff stuck with him. Boulware has several connections to the team with the Berry twins being teammates.

I'd guess the staff would like to have 1 more OT, just have to see if the right kid comes along.

I've been saying for months now that we need 5 minimum OL and preferably 6 in the 2015 class. The last 2 must be OTs. Right now we have Kerbyson, who should be playing OG, and Thomas, who should be playing center. With the exception of Blair, there isn't a single OT prospect in the pipeline. Not one!! I'm hoping that Mosley might help after he has recovered. But will he have the quickness to handle the tackle position? CBJ and staff have been excellent at recruiting and rebuilding the program, but OL has fallen well short of their other accomplishments. Maybe holding out for Richmond was a really bad tactical move. But now is the time to recover and get 2 true OT in the program. If Burrell and Allen are the ones, then let's go and get them. I just don't know if they have the length and quickness to be SEC caliber OTs. Does anyone on VN know more about them?

Edit: I forgot to mention Givens. Does he have SEC quickness?

One more I forgot: Sweet. Looks like he could come in and be a OT. Like Givens, does he have SEC length and quickness?

Just one more thought on the OL situation: The failure of Blair to come in and seize the LT position has had a damaging ripple effect on the whole OL. I was always a little concerned about the hyper-emphasis on DL recruiting in the 2014 class, but tended to downplay it because of the potential of Blair. Now that Blair has failed, all of my concerns are back. Our current position is really tough to take. CBJ and Mahoney really need to get this fixed in the 2015 class.

We will have 26 or 27 on our commit list on signing day contrary to what Leb says.

We can sign 24 on signing day but the VQ staff has already said look for a 2 or 3 players to GS or Blue Shirt this year. I could see Lovingwood and Bruce being in that category.

So I think we still have at least 2 more spots and we will certainly lose a couple more as VQ keeps hinting at Jackson and Ford getting constant attention. Also mentioned Reid as someone looking around and I'm sure there will be more lower rated guys that see some big-timers coming in that makes them reconsider (Miller)?

This leads me to believe that we will have about 5 or 6 new names on the commitment list by signing day.

This would be my projected class right now if I had to pick.
