I've been trolling USU's msg. board (but not posting) and kept hearing about their strong run defense so I googled and found this site. I have to admit they seem pretty good at stopping the run.
-They allowed just 106.7 yards rushing per game.
-only two players broke 100 yards all year.
With that said they lost some players and we are UT. So, Hurd goes for 120 and Lane gets 90
I think they will manage the yards to be sure Lane gets more than hurd if the game gets out of hand, Scott is going to be a sweat back also so I'm wondering if they try to red shirt him
I don't know about the 1st game but I have money that Hurd has his eyes set on these stats below. To hit these he needs about 104 per game. So I'd say 105.
As a freshman in 1997 Lewis rushed for 1,364 yards and seven touchdowns.
