Enough to cause their AD to embarrassingly have to beg OSU fans to not sell their tickets to UT fans. That and they decided to do a Scarlet-Out to presumably drown out the Orange in the stands.

They won't be able to stop fans from chanting or singing Rocky Top with the band though! So we really need our fans who go to focus more on being loud thab just attending and wearing orange.

Around 10k. Our 3500 allotment.

The resale market is about 10k tickets and based on Trey Wallace we got about 42% of that.

Math points to about 10k
Plus those who were able to purchase from Ohio st website.

10k sounds about rt but 15k wouldn’t surprise me.

One tweek that I hope they make next year is that the visiting teams be offered 20% of the tickets of the host stadiums seating capacity.
The visiting schools then need to sell those tickets directly to their fan base and not turn them over to Ticketmaster to sell.
Would really cut down on the secondary market stuff and keep scalpers from raising the prices so high.

Enough to make noise and be noticed. History being made and Tennessee travels as good as anyone. I’m saying 25K because too many tickets available for the host stadium to not have sold out already. OSU isn’t excited coming off the loss as we are to travel and take over like we did at LSU.

Man I hope it’s a lot… I’m coming in from Texas and gonna be by myself, and I assume I’m gonna be surrounded by OSU fans in the section I’m sitting…
You purchased tickets? My son and I are going but buying tix few days in advance since prices will continue to drop - better seats.

30k in Death valley for a reg season game. >35000 for a playoff game I think
You’re discounting the fact that home fans will be a bit more fired up to go to the first ever home playoff game than a noon conference game. Granted, OSU is on shaky ground right now, but I have a hard time seeing us get 30k. 20k would be monumental

Wondering if students going home will affect the crowd size/performance as well? I think our numbers may be overestimated by some but maybe not.

That would mostly just impact freshmen. I know when I was in college, most sophomores and up lived off campus and would stick around for most of break. And we didn’t have anything like a playoff game to stick around for. I feel like if this game were at UT that UT students would still be there.

Maybe. A lot of kids probably going home for holidays though as well. A lot less will be there after the Michigan loss imo than would’ve been there if they had won that one. Jmo though. I imagine there will be plenty of crimson though.
