How much better is UGA?

Bama offense is better, UGA defense is lights out again. Thats the summary. I think it will be close and to the wire like Sat was. Alot will depend on our health from the KY game the week before.

UGA defense is good, but no where near what they were last year. Mizzu put hung 22 on them and only scored 1 TD. Kent State put up 22 on them as well.

Bama defense is pretty dang good too. We're just that damn good offensively.

Wow.... we just played the best RB in the country by far...... And no Georgia is not better defensively than Bama. Georgia in fact is starting a true freshman at Safety... You think he stops Hyatt lol. Bama has a better front than UGA because of Anderson. Lets not talk about QB. Georgia has struggled running the ball for the better part of the year.
We might be jacking up Bama's stats now, but they rank 16 in total defense and UGA ranks 3rd. The only full game of theirs I watched was Oregon and they were stifling. They had lapses a couple of games ago. Pretty sure we get their best effort.

They are also 4th in total offense where we are now 1st. They will be the most well balanced team we have faced. Screenshot_20221016-211314_Chrome.jpgScreenshot_20221016-210925_Chrome.jpgScreenshot_20221016-211314_Chrome.jpg

UGA's offense averages more yards per game than Bama's.

Their defense is the best in the conference but not as good as last year. The pass rush is not as good.

Nationally 3rd in total defense, 4th in total offense. Good disciplined team, average 4 penalties per game. They are thin at WR and TE heavy. Bower is impressive

Solid team. Home field advantage for them is big. Won't be Neyland loud but will be loud. Still a winnable game.
We share similar sentiments.

Our Defense continues to improve, every week they look a little better than the week before. Our Offense, is our strength. If D can have a good day, not great, don't need great....our O is going to be very hard to beat. They put too many points on the board. I believe we have a team who can play with most any team in the country. With that said, I give the edge to GA because they are playing at home, but really, I'm expecting another high scoring game in which the last person with the ball, wins the game. JMO

I was about to ask if any of them had watched Georgia play this year.

I feel the same. I'm certainly have concerns about UGA's D, but after playing Young, Stetson Bennett doesn't worry me at all.

We’ll be coming off Kentucky, but I think they’ll be coming off the cocktail party. I don’t worry about not having our A game with the leadership we have. If the Gators play them tough (and they always do), we have them at the right time.

I think UGA is better overall than Bama. Their pass defense is much better IMO. While I am not conceding a loss to UGA, I don’t see us winning that game. It’s in Athens.

Uh UGA blew Florida off the field last year

I feel much better about the UGA game after ‘Bama. I think it will be harder to run on the Dawgs, but our passing attack will be a big problem for them, especially if Tillman is back. We largely held Gibbs in check and I feel he is better than UGA’s backs by a good margin. Bennett is so shifty, but I don’t think he will avoid the rush as effectively as Young did. The question will be if we can get pressure on the QB. Georgia’s WRs don’t scare me, but that TE Bowers is a man. Let’s take care of business and go 12-0 to remove all doubt about the CFP.
