Last year Ole Miss gave Kiffin 7.3 million after going 10-3 in his second season. Assuming CJH goes 10-3 (including the bowl game), how big of a Brinks truck do we deliver?

Heupel would probably need to be brought up to in line with what other top coaches make. I don’t think it’s about the money though a lot of the time when a coach makes a change from one major program to another. You compensate but you also make sure he has everything he needs to build a successful program. White seems to push all the right buttons to help coaches be successful.

I would wait to see how things end up. They did that contract extension and raise earlier. I (obviously) do not know his contract. I would imagine there is a bonus incentive based on post season success. I could see a big raise next year if there is success consecutive years.

Let’s just hope the Haslam booster coalition doesn’t make him scrounge through his couch for bus fare to Norman.

Pay the man... Regardless of what happens... Pre-season, if anyone said we would be 5 games in, undefeated, ranked in the top 10, 80% of yall would have been dogging anyone making those claims. The man and his staff can flat-out coach!

Amen first real staff in decades..

He got a raise right after last season. I think you bump him but only after the season is done and the recruiting class is finalized. Do his annual evaluation when you've got his entire body of work to reflect on. I don't think you start trying to make him a 7-10 million dollar man at this point in his career. Don't care what Ole Miss gave kiffy. Fiscal sanity should be the goal.
