How should we feel?

I always...ALWAYS! Root against bama. Going in though, I honestly didn't care who won because uga is almost as obnoxious here lately. I figured no matter who wins tonight, we play them both and control our own destiny.

Having said that, when bama went up big I didn't want it to stick because what if they roll through their whole schedule that way? So I was glad uga came back

In the end, I think it gave me hope we could beat either team

I agree, it was the best of both worlds. Also, by no means am I happy when someone gets injuredā€”I pray for everyone's health as soon as the game is over and hope they get back to 100%. But if their line can get banged up, like Georgia being down to their 3rd-string center, that only helps our defensive line feast even more.
But what happens if our OLine gets beat up worse? Gotta protect Nico. We don't want him running for his life all night.

Bama isnā€™t the same without Saban. DeBoer is a great play caller but his management of the game overall isnā€™t in the same league as Saban.

Georgia has showed everyone how to beat them multiple times. Beck gets rattled easy but if you give him time he will make big plays.

This all reminds me of Duke telling Rocky after round 2 and Rocky cut drago open
Duke states
"You cut him! You hurt him! You see? You see? He's not a machine, he's a man!"

Iā€™m holding off judgment until I see this team handle Arky on the road and beat the gators at home.
This 100%. I couldn't be more unsure of just how good the Vols are. I think they're good - but then the opponents so far look like garbage. And that second half at OU with OL/Nico struggling? Not sure it was all on the conservative play calling. Hopefully the team got better in the off week.

It was in Tennessee's best interest for Bama to win. Handing Bama their first loss looks better for us in the rankings than handing them their second loss. Plus, by the time we get to Georgia, they may have two losses anyway. So I pulled for Bama to win.

No legitimate Vol fan will ever want Bubba to win, ever.

I leaned for Bama since we have them at home and GA on the road. Gotta hope GA loses one more if home field holds so we have tiebreaker with Bama in that scenario.

Guess we find out where we are in secondary and if we can contain running QBs.

I feel like there is a lot of parity this year at the top. Us, Bama, texas, Georgia and maybe Ohio state all feel fairly even. This could wind up being a perfect year for the expanded playoff.

Watching the Alabama-Georgia game was a rollercoaster for us Vols fans. Part of me wanted Alabama to win since Georgia still has a tough schedule ahead and could pick up losses down the road. But as the game went on, Georgia looked shaky, which made me lean towards wanting them to pull it off, since Alabama seemed more dominant overall. The game was tight, and honestly, Bama didnā€™t do much offensively 2nd half besides that late touchdown, managing just a field goal up until then.

In the end, itā€™s hard to say who winning benefits us the most, but seeing Georgia struggle like that definitely gives me hope for when we play them. Both look beatable.
I was hoping there was a weird scenario where both teams could lose that game. šŸ¤£
