How significant is this in the QB competition?

I never disputed that there were plenty of issues with the WRs. I've disputed that this can be used as a blanket excuse for all of Worley's bad stats and as the basis to conclude, as you did, that Worley is one of the most underrated players in the previous 30 years of UT football.

Yeah. You pretty much have said that it was all on Worley regardless. If he's as bad as you seem to be saying then it would not have mattered nor will it matter how good the WR play is. He will just throw it into the turf at their feet anyway... since he does that all the time you know.

Yes. I believe he has been badly underrated by people like you based on his failure to have great performances... in awful situations. If it turns out that I am wrong, I can live with that.

No. Parsing facts is when you said that Worley threw 10 touchdowns last season, but conveniently neglected to mention that 3 of those were against an FCS opponent. Parsing fact is trying to dismiss his interceptions in the South Alabama game because "he played horribly along with pretty much all the WR's" while neglecting the fact that was the only game last season (and, actually, in his FBS career) that he threw more than 1 touchdown pass.

Outright lying is when you say that I ignore the effect of WR play, when I just wrote this two pages ago...
So unless I read and memorize every post you make... I'm lying? :good!:

In the first part I was answering you. How did I dismiss Worley's INT's when I specifically said he played horribly? And I suppose that WR play has nothing to do with how many TD's a QB throws, right? I mean a truly great QB can throw TD's whether their receivers do their jobs or not, right?

Worley threw at least one TD against each opponent except for Bama. All things considered, I'm not willing to call him an untalented bum based on that.

No, I haven't. Please show me where I said that. There's no point in having a discussion with you when you insist on putting words in my mouth.

You did not say that Worley was untalented and constantly threw balls into the turf because of his lack of talent? Are you going to now claim that is NOT an accurate summation of what you have said about him?

Worley did throw a lot of balls in the dirt. That can't be argued. Maybe he will fix it this year.

Define a lot... and tell me when... and explain which ones he underthrew, which ones he threw away, and which ones the receivers were responsible for.

And to be fair, I don't think we should include the time after Worley injured his thumb. Agree?

Yes. I'm being facetious because even if you had all of the game film and could give a fair count... you can't know which ones were on him alone and which ones can be explained accurately and fairly where he is not to blame.
