If I want to make a flour type product that has crickets in it, and sell it, why shouldn't I be able to? If people dont want my product I will be done fast. Let the market decide.

It isnt the fear of the freedom..it is the fear of the eventual mandate or unlawfullness of meat or non insect flour. Look at theCovid vax..I dont have an issue with it, but in the hands of pols it became oppressive. The CC agenda is what is driving this and it is extremist as any policy in probably our nations history.The article I posted is mind conditioning people by the EU to accept it.

I see what you are saying, but would be more in line with banning EVs with your hypothetical. They create an acceptable substitute then mandate it.

Honestly man who knows they may have already replaced the grocery store meat with bugs. Might be safer to just go vegan, so the bad men don't get you with their secret bug steaks.

Vegans eat bugs (unknowingly). One of my summer jobs in college was as a lab tech at a flower mill. One of my tasks was to count bug parts in the ground up flour. You are allowed so many bug parts per unit of flour. I don’t remember the exact number. But it wasn’t zero

Rice, flour and some pasta are sifted and rebagged/repackaged. All of those contain bugs or did at one time

ban the substitution that you don't want, instead of the banning the free market. Nothing Desantis did with this law actually protects against what you are afraid of.

have Desantis pass a law stating that Florida requires all products labeling themselves as meat to be field raised from non-lab grown animals or some such language.

he took away freedom instead of protecting against future immoral substitutions.
