No, I am for local communities making decisions about local schools. So then you are for government gender identity and DEI funding/teachings in schools.
No, I am for local communities making decisions about local schools.
I am opposed to the State (especially the Federal government) stepping in and dictating what will be taught in schools.
But you don’t get to pick and choose who is entitled to that freedom. Local communities, in Oregon and Mississippi alike, should have equal agency.
Good. Then the bans Desantis put in place are helping you to reach the above. Without them, DEI and gender identity that were in place and being taught at the behest of the federal government would still be so.No, I am for local communities making decisions about local schools.

I don't care that De-Satan banned all that stuff. I care about his ability to live within a budget.
Anybody got year over year data on revenues and expenditures for Florida under the little man?
I need to see the data. Couldn't find it online. He has reduced their current debt by like 25% but their unfunded liabilities (over twice as much as their current debt) are out of control and he rolled back reforms and cost-saving measures his predecessor implemented. Not sure how Florida will end up on the net. His fiscal responsibility is a bit of an illusion.
That is what he did. He laid out his goals objectives in regards to DEI/gender identity. The Florida legislature developed bills and he signed them into law. The ban and tyrant stuff are from the media gaslighting for all his detractors. They have plenty of help and do not need any more.DeSantis didn't have to ban anything, he could have supported laws that protected local school systems not complying with federal mandates. If Miami Dade school board wants to teach DEI then it's up to the people of M/D to replace them.

Now, in the Miami Dade example, if they wanted to not teach reading and/or math are you good with that?
