So, Governor Lee signed a bill that bans students and staff from using a bathroom that meets their gender identity in addition to a law that bans trans students from playing in sports that do not meet their biological sex. Should he not have signed these bills and let the local schools decide these issues?Yes.
Local communities should be making decisions about what is taught in local schools.
If local school administrators are not making decisions that align with their local communities - they should be removed.
If local communities don’t want math taught, or have wild views on math - they will yield the results of those positions.
