Floridian here - DeSantis is a perfect example of how intellectual brilliance and wisdom are quite different. Wisdom requires a grasp of the human condition and a deep moral compass. Consider the difference between the brain and the mind. The development of both bring great joy and satisfaction, but without the empathy for humanity and all living creatures, emptiness and lack of satisfaction prevail.
