The nose of the ball broke the plane before Pig lost possession. And since it was ruled a TD, how the heck did they deem that there was conclusive evidence based on the video? I just don't get it. Everyone at the stadium felt the same way. Go Vols.

he didn't have control when the ball crossed the line. It sucked but I realized what was about to happen after the first replay

It's certainly debatable, but there was NOT proof from the video evidence. It looked like he was gripping the nose of the ball until AT LEAST the tip crossed the plane. This is bs

He began losing the ball at around the 1 yard line. Hell of an effort, but it was a fumble.

To the few of you arguing it was at TD, I ask what in the heck did you just watch? He clearly lost control before he got to the goal line.

If it had been reversed and was UGA, there is no way in hades you'd be arguing it might have been a TD.

I just don't understand how I'm not seeing what everyone else seems to be seeing. I didn't see any indisputable evidence

Irrifutable evidence is something I always go back to in these instances. Its supposed to be the burden of proof but you always see crap like this get overturned.

Looking at the replays I can't decide if he did or didn't. Neither can most reasonable people.

How in the hell did they overturn that...

There were several bad calls that went UGA's way. Unfortunately, that was not one of them.

LOL...I agree and am glad to see others feel the same.

So most reasonable people are about 5-6 people on VN arguing it was a TD? SMH.

Everyone I spoke to at the game was unanimous in their stance on this play. Then, I get home and everyone on VN is unanimous the other way. I get the he probably lost possession, but to overturn it based on that video is absurd imo. I'm still really bitter...maybe I'll see more clearly tomorrow, but I'm not budging on this for now.

Probably because you were at the stadium and we saw the replay on tv 27 times in closeup. It was not a TD

I think it was a snap call and really could go either way. Lord knows I've seen more questionable calls than that ruled a TD.

Which is why I think if there is a shred of doubt it goes to the field call. Which is what the rule says...but its selectively enforced..
