I hope the staff hits it hard as they can while appearing sensitive to the situation.

The last thing we need is a recruit whining to ESPN how our coaches were asses concerning Urban's health...true or not they (the media) will eat that up.

this will not affect our recruiting at all considering all of the supposed silent commits we already have.

There are 4-5 dbs in this years recruiting class on UFs list. Then there is Brown and Silberman. They also have a couple TEs on the squad. The DBs will be getting hard looks I would assume.

Every recruit is now in play. UT has a shot at IMO off the top of my head:

Elam
Riggs
Dunkley

I don't see Mack Brown jumping ship right now but I wouldn't be surprised he opens up but I don't see him going to UT. I don't see you becoming a player with Powell at all.

Also no insider at any website saw this coming and everyone is just stunned. Some names being tossed around are Tubberville, Gruden, Kyle Wittingham, Petterson, and Patterson.

Also talking about bringing back a Mullen or a Strong. I am just shocked right now.

I wouldn't put it past Jeremy Foley to give Coach O a call. Not only would that put a crimp in UT's recruiting, FL would wind up with a hell of a coach. Talk about ramping up the SEC intrigue.

Sounds right. I feel for you though. IDC what team you coach for, if you get pulled out for health reasons you deserve honor.

Totally different set of circumstances - Dickey was a Florida guy played there. Also, Kiffin doesn't have the resume to satisfy Gators and you can't call a coach and by extension a fan base a bunch of cheatin', lyin', whiners and then go and work for them.

Mullen, Spurrier, are only SEC guys that could possibly get the job. My money is on Patterson at TCU.

I defenitely believe he is leaving because of illness... I think he was getting sick of seeing Kiffin in his rear view mirror

Patterson just signed a new contract. Look for Wittingham's name to come up. Also, I wouldn't be surprised to see Saban's name come up, especially if he wins the NC. He's a greedy man.
