So today i started thinking about the things that i have done that prove that i am a die hard Tennessee fan. For instance, when we won the national championship, me and my dad drove an hour in the snow at 2 in the morning to get our National Champion shirts. or how the guys at verizon know that if Tennessee lost a close game the night before you can probably count on seeing me the next day to pick up a new phone (given that you have to throw something and for some reason it's always right there to throw). So i thought it would be interesting to see what other people have done in the heat of the moment. good or bad. any good stories?
I moved the time of my wedding from 4PM to 10AM so I could attend the FL game...my mother in-law, "who gets married at 10AM?" ME, "who reserves a church on Saturday in the fall without checking UT schedule." My in-laws knew what they were getting into..FYI been married 20 yrs..

I hate the whole state of Alabama, even though I've never been to the state of Alabama
I named my son Peyton. Only because my wife wouldn't let me name him Smokey. After my wife and I were pronounced husband and wife, we walked down the aisle to Rocky Top. We got married in the Fall of '07. On UT's open date. Yeah, I planned the wedding.

i live about a 5 minute drive away from that state. NEVER EVER GO THERE!!! they fly their little car flags all year long and i've heard of some UT fans having stuff on their cars destroyed that pertain to UT. That state as a whole just sucks!! But their sales tax is lower than ours so my wife and i do our grocery shopping there....and we ALWAYS wear our orange loud and proud every time we go down there!:dance2:
Idk where you do your shopping but take me with. I'm in Birmingham and I pay 10% sales tax on everything. I've found that it runs generally throughout the state at that rate- even higher in some instances. Alabama has the highest combined sales tax rate in the country.
