Huggins throws kid under the bus

I think it's great that my granddad got to watch championship Tennessee football back in the 30s and 40s and 50s, but you sure as hell don't see me beating my chest about how awesome that makes us right now.

Kentucky fans claiming to have the #1 basketball program in the country is like me applying for a job and sending in my grandfather's resume.

True, that would be the case if you were 15 years old.

As for "beating my chest" about it. I never even hinted at titles until you came in to discredit anything done before 1960. Which is pretty funny considering UT's proud display of winning a so called title in the 1930's.

Who cares what some nimrod blogger at the Bleacher Report writes? Kentucky and UCLA are like Army and Notre Dame in football -- has-been programs. There's nobody outside of the state of Kentucky under 40 years old who doesn't think that UNC and Duke are not both way beyond UK. Kentucky fans claiming to have the #1 basketball program in the country is like me applying for a job and sending in my grandfather's resume.

:good!:

Apparently you cannot grasp the distinction between A) merely displaying a sign commemorating a championship won in the 30s, and B) making a spurious claim to being the #1 program in basketball based almost entirely on what happened in the 40s and 50s.

But since we've reached the point where you're just mindlessly typing the same thing over and over again, I think we're done here. As usual, Kentucky fans are the most predictable, easy-to-troll fans on the internet.

I wonder what people would say if a coach actually threw a kid under a literal bus?

I don't even think Vandy has anything like that Music City banner up, and lord knows if any school in the country should tout a lower tier bowl win, it would be Vandy.

Eh, I don't know. Most of their championships came before black kids were allowed to play. That's like saying Italy's an all time top 3 country based on the Roman Empire.

In Kentucky's case, it's more like saying Mongolia's a top 3 country because of Genghis Khan.
