This thread may never end, it’s covered a lot of ground since it’s inception.
It’s kinda like going to a meeting, with no time limit, that no one really controls and every thought has been discussed. No resolution to the subject of the meeting but now there are 10 other issues to contend with.

This has historic potential.

Agree about this account, however local radio here in Birmingham also reporting Enos meeting with Pruitt today. They seem to expect Enos to get promotion at Bama to OC if Locksley leaves.

May be the only good thing with Hurts winning game Saturday as Midget may want to keep enos around and therefore hurts for next season and he hires enos instead of Freeze. I know Freeze has issues from past but maybe he sticks around for a couple of years and our offensive guys can learn the oc trade for the future once freeze leaves for another opportunity. That is what I would be looking for if Pruitt.

Why would a QB Coach finish out the season? DC, OC, HC I can understand. This is like a fry cook asking to finish the year at McD's instead of coming directly to Burger King to be a manager. Just sayin. Stop carrying a grudge. His staying hurt us not one bit.

Well, he's not just the fry cook and ole Saban might request he stay. It's not like Pruitt and saban are bitter rivals.

Guys I am telling you that there are a lot of individuals within the UT Administration at the highest levels who simply do not understand the value of UT football or athletics in general. I know many have been replaced but there are still a handful who remain in power or helped bring along their replacements. I don't know that they are impeding this particular search but they have in the past in terms of head coaches. It would not surprise me in the least if it were the case again. I do understand how some well meaning people could have reservations about CHF. I don't know that they are legitimate concerns but perception is reality when it comes to a University's image. It will be deflating if we can't hire him but even more deflating if we are stuck with Friend.

He verified MIT was somebody with money that knew a lot of people, not that he knew everything about the search. There is a different name, but I also think a lot of people skewed AV's words to fit what they really wanted to hear.
