Interesting. I was thinking they threw his name out early to check fall out/ pushback, negative commentary. At the same time going through the interview process w other candidates.

I actually didn't mean that as bashing OP. I think it would be hilariously awesome to watch how this thread twisted and turned if he were proven exactly right. I guess the last part made it sound like I was taking a shot at him but I was just trying to be funny — a practice which has a middling success rate at best.

A lot of them are. I can't stand listening to Hooker. My point was that they all value their own opinion (otherwise they wouldn't be on the radio), but I don't know of any of them who's opinion matters to anybody else.
