I would disagree. Some thoughts on this thread. There are very few former players no matter how “legendary” that would have much insider knowledge except for PM. They hear the same rumors we do, but what happens inside that building stays pretty close. I know quite a few former players who are sizeable donors and stay involved and would tell you they dont know anything.
What I feel confident saying is that decision has been made. They were in detail mode Thursday evening. I dont know if that means its freeze, lindsey, or internal hire but I believe the “search” to be over.

Matthews and Fulmer are very close friends. If Fulmer was going to let any persons know, Matthews would most likely be on that short list.
